Tuk-tuk
To reach Kadiyallena Waterfall from the city center of Kandy, you can take a tuk-tuk. Head to the main tuk-tuk stand near the Kandy Lake. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kadiyallena Waterfall. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the A26 road towards Peradeniya, then turn onto the road leading to Kadiyanlena. Keep an eye out for the waterfall on your right as you approach the area.

From Kandy, you can take a bus towards Gampola. Head to the Kandy Bus Station and look for the bus labeled 'Gampola' or 'Nawalapitiya.' Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Kadiyanlena bus stop (ask the conductor to let you know when you reach your stop). From the bus stop, walk along the road towards the waterfall, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs leading you towards Kadiyallena Waterfall.

If you're staying near Kandy Lake, you can take a scenic walk towards Kadiyallena Waterfall. Start from the lake and head towards the main road. Follow the A26 road towards Peradeniya. After about 2 kilometers, you will need to take a left onto the road leading to Kadiyanlena. Continue walking for about 2-3 kilometers until you reach the waterfall. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature, but be prepared for a long walk of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
