From the city center of Kandy, head towards the Kandy Lake. Look for a tuk-tuk stand near the lake or on the main streets. Once you find a tuk-tuk, tell the driver 'Kadugannawa National Train Museum' or show them the address: 7G5C+284, A1, Kadugannawa. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Public Bus
Head to the main bus station in Kandy, which is located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Kadugannawa; they are usually marked with the destination on a signboard. Get on the bus and pay the fare (usually around 50 LKR). After about 30-40 minutes, ask the conductor to notify you when you reach Kadugannawa. Once you get off, walk towards A1 road, and the museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the Kandy Railway Station, you can walk to the museum. Head south on the A1 road from the station for approximately 6 kilometers. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to stay on the footpath and be cautious of traffic. Follow the signs for Kadugannawa, and the museum will be on your right as you approach the area.
