Public Bus
From Kandy city center, head to the Kandy bus station located near the post office. Look for buses heading towards Nuwara Eliya or Ramboda. The bus fare is inexpensive, usually around 50 LKR. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Ramboda Falls. The bus will drop you off at a nearby stop. From there, follow the signs towards Ramboda Falls, which is a short walk, about 500 meters down a small pathway.
Tuk-Tuk
Tuk-tuks are readily available throughout Kandy. You can find them near hotels or on the streets. Negotiate the fare before starting the journey; it should cost around 2000-3000 LKR to Ramboda Falls. The trip takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Ensure that you show the driver the address '3P34+R4G, A5, Ramboda' to avoid any confusion.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy nature, you can hike from Kandy to Ramboda Falls. Start at the Kandy Lake, head towards the A5 road, and follow it towards Ramboda. It's roughly a 24-kilometer trek, which may take around 5-6 hours. The route is scenic with beautiful views of tea plantations. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water and snacks.
