From the center of Kitulgala, head south on the B318 road. Continue on the B318 for approximately 6 km. You will pass through lush greenery and small villages. Keep an eye out for roadside signs indicating Dethiri Ella. As you approach, you may notice parking areas along the road where you can safely park your vehicle. The waterfall is a short walk from the parking area, following a path down to the water.
