Turn left onto the road towards Tharapuram and continue for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see Koraikulam Bird Observatory on your right, located at the coordinates 9.0025111, 79.8896036. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Koraikulam Bird Observatory by public transport, catch a bus heading towards Tharapuram from Mannar town, which is usually available from the central bus station. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Koraikulam. Once you arrive at Tharapuram, the observatory is about a 10-15 minute walk. Head northeast on the main road for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach the observatory. Please note that the bus fare is typically around LKR 50 to LKR 100.
