Private Car
From Matale town, take the A9 highway heading north. After about 10 km, look for a sign indicating the turnoff to Arangala Mountain Peak. Take the turn onto the B2 road and continue for approximately 5 km. You'll see a sign for the trailhead to Arangala Mountain Peak. There is limited parking available, so be sure to arrive early. The drive should take around 30 minutes.
Public Bus
From Matale town, head to the main bus station and take a bus heading towards Kandy. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop near the B2 junction. From there, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or walk approximately 2 km to reach the trailhead for Arangala Mountain Peak. The bus fare is generally around LKR 50, and a tuk-tuk ride could cost around LKR 300-500.
Tuk-Tuk
If you are already in Matale and want a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Simply ask your driver to take you to Arangala Mountain Peak trailhead. This option is convenient, especially if you're traveling with a group. The fare should be around LKR 500-700, depending on your starting point in Matale.
