From the center of Matale, drive towards Dambulla on the A9 highway. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Dambulla. Continue straight for about 5 km until you reach Dambulla. Once in Dambulla, follow the signs to Erawulgala Peak, which is located at VP5J+84F. There is limited parking available near the base of the peak.

From Matale, head to the Matale Bus Station and take a bus heading to Dambulla. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately LKR 50-100. Once in Dambulla, you can either take a tuk-tuk to the base of Erawulgala Peak for around LKR 200-300 or walk the remaining distance, which is about 3 km.
