Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Rattota. From Rattota, follow the signs towards Riverston. The road will take you through picturesque countryside and you will pass by several small villages. After about 9 kilometers from Rattota, you will reach the entrance of Pitawala Pathana. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Pitawala Pathana using public transportation, start from Matale town bus station. Take a bus heading towards Rattota; buses leave frequently throughout the day. The fare is approximately LKR 50-100. Once you arrive in Rattota, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi to get to Pitawala Pathana, which is about 9 kilometers away. The tuk-tuk fare from Rattota to Pitawala Pathana will typically cost around LKR 500-700.
