From the center of Matara, head east towards the Matara Bus Station. Once you reach the bus station, exit and take a right onto Epitamulla Road. Continue walking straight on Epitamulla Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Dutch Bay as you approach the coast. The destination will be on your left, just past the intersection with the beach access road.
Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any location in Matara. Simply tell the driver to take you to Dutch Bay, located on Epitamulla Road. The drivers are familiar with the area, and it should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey.
