If you are in the center of Matara, head towards the Matara Bus Station. From the bus station, walk down the Main Street (Galle Road) heading south. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to continue on Galle Road. After approximately 300 meters, you will see a local grocery store on your left. Turn left onto the road next to the grocery store. Follow this road for about 500 meters, and you will find the entrance to Kirala Kele Sanctuary on your right.

Tuk-Tuk
From any location in Matara, you can easily find a tuk-tuk by asking locals or waving one down on the street. Ask the driver to take you to 'Kirala Kele Sanctuary' or provide them with the address 'XGGM+MV6, Matara'. The ride typically takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the sanctuary.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Matara. Start from the center of Matara and head towards the Matara Bus Station. Once you reach the bus station, continue south along Galle Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on Galle Road. After 300 meters, turn left next to a local grocery store and continue for approximately 500 meters. The entrance to Kirala Kele Sanctuary will be on your right.
