From Matara Bus Station, head north on Matara - Galle Main Road (A2) for about 600 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Galle Road (A2) and continue walking for about 7 kilometers. After reaching Galle, keep an eye out for the Maritime Museum, which is located on Queens Street. The museum is situated approximately 1 kilometer from the Galle Fort, making it an easy walk from this famous landmark.
