If you are starting from the Matara Bus Station, exit the station and head east towards the main road (Galle Road). Once you reach Galle Road, turn left and walk along the road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for the Totamuna Road sign on your right. Turn right onto Totamuna Road and continue straight for about 800 meters. The Tsunami Memorial will be on your left side, located at WGRP+VRH.

From any point in Matara, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk to take you to the Tsunami Memorial. Simply tell the driver 'Tsunami Memorial on Totamuna Road.' The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the memorial.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Matara. Start from the Matara Bus Station, then head towards Galle Road.
