If you are traveling by car, head towards Minneriya National Park. Enter the park from the main entrance. Follow the main gravel road through the park, keeping an eye out for wildlife. After about 5 kilometers, look for signs indicating the viewpoint. The viewpoint is located at the coordinates 8.03545° N, 80.89717° E. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the viewpoint.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Habarana to Minneriya. Once you arrive at Minneriya, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk for the last part of your journey to the viewpoint. Provide the driver with the location coordinates (8.03545° N, 80.89717° E) or simply say 'viewpoint in Minneriya National Park.' The tuk-tuk ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
