Tuk-Tuk
From any point in Mirissa, head towards the main road (Matara-Galle Main Road). You can easily find a tuk-tuk or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. Inform the driver that you're going to the Maritime Museum in Galle. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will pass through beautiful coastal views. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the museum located on Queens St.

Public Bus
Walk to the nearest bus stop on the Matara-Galle Main Road. Look for a bus heading towards Galle (these are often marked with 'Galle' at the front). The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Galle, get off at the Galle bus station. From there, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk. If you choose to walk, head towards the main road and follow the signs for the Maritime Museum, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
