Walking
From the center of Mirissa, head towards the Mirissa Beach. Walk along the beach pathway towards the west until you reach the end of the beach. Continue walking along the shoreline; you'll see signs pointing towards Weligama. Keep walking for approximately 30-40 minutes. You'll eventually reach Weligama Bay, which is a popular spot for tourists and has beautiful views.

Find a tuk-tuk near the main road in Mirissa. Tell the driver you want to go to Weligama Bay. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off near the beach area, where you can easily walk to the bay.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active route, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Mirissa. Start by cycling on the main road heading towards Weligama. The distance is about 3 km, and it should take around 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs to Weligama, and you will arrive at Weligama Bay.

To take a local bus, walk to the Mirissa bus stop located on the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Weligama. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, and buses run frequently. Once you reach Weligama, get off at the bus station, and from there, it’s a short walk to Weligama Bay.
