Getting There

Tuk-Tuk
From Hikkaduwa, you can take a Tuk-Tuk directly to Mirissa. Just tell the driver to take you to Harbour Road in Mirissa, which is where the Whale Watching Club is located. The journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before you start your ride.

Public Bus
To reach the Whale Watching Club from Hikkaduwa using public transport, head to the main bus station in Hikkaduwa. Look for buses heading to Matara, as they pass through Mirissa. Once you find a suitable bus, hop on and enjoy the scenic ride. After about 45 minutes, get off at the Mirissa bus stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach and take a left onto Harbour Road. The Whale Watching Club will be along this road. It should take you about 10 minutes to walk there.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from the center of Hikkaduwa. Head towards the coast and follow the beach path south. This will eventually lead you to Mirissa. The walk is quite scenic and should take you about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Mirissa, continue walking along the beach until you find Harbour Road, then follow it to the Whale Watching Club.
