Walking
If you are in the main area of Mirissa, start by heading towards the Mirissa Beach. Walk along the beach promenade towards the east. You will pass several small shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you reach the end of the beach where you will see a rocky outcrop. This is Parrot Rock. To get to the rock, walk towards it and you will find a small path leading up. Be cautious as the rocks can be slippery.

From the Mirissa Harbour, head towards the beach area. Follow the coastal road towards the east, keeping the ocean on your left. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will see Parrot Rock rising out of the water. There will be a small path leading up to the rock. Please be careful as the path can be uneven and rocky.

If you are near the local shops or restaurants, ask for directions to the beach. Once you get to Mirissa Beach, walk towards the eastern end of the beach. You will notice Parrot Rock in the distance. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the rock. Use the path on the southern side of the rock to climb up for a stunning view.
