Car
If you are driving from Moneragala town, head northwest on the A4 road towards Badulla. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto the B92 road towards Ambadandegama. Continue on this road for about 15 km until you reach the location at R3Q2+2RR, Ambadandegama. There is a parking area available near the site. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be narrow or winding.
Public Transport
To reach Upper Rawana by public transport, take a bus from Moneragala town heading towards Badulla. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that they stop at Ambadandegama. The journey will take around 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Ambadandegama, you may need to hire a tuk-tuk or walk approximately 3 km to get to Upper Rawana. Tuk-tuk fares may range from 300 to 500 LKR depending on the negotiation.
Tuk-tuk
If you are already in Ambadandegama, hiring a local tuk-tuk is an excellent option to reach Upper Rawana. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The ride should not take more than 10 minutes and should cost around 200 LKR. Ensure you have cash on hand, as most tuk-tuks do not accept digital payments.
