If you are driving from Moneragala Town, head southwest on the A24 road towards Badulla for about 5 km. As you approach the town of Moneragala, take a left onto Dambagalla Road. Continue on Dambagalla Road for approximately 4 km, and you will find Kehellanda Wewa on your right. There is free parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Kehellanda Wewa via public transportation, take a bus from Moneragala Town to Badulla. Buses frequently depart from the main bus stand. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the Dambagalla junction. From there, you can either walk along Dambagalla Road for about 1 km or hire a tuk-tuk for a small fee (approximately 100 LKR) to take you directly to Kehellanda Wewa.
