Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A32 road. Take a left onto A32, and drive for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the Dutch Fort as you approach. The fort is located at coordinates 9.2700158, 80.814218, which is also your destination. Make sure to look for parking options nearby.

To reach the Dutch Fort using public transportation, start at the Mullaitivu bus station. Look for a bus heading towards the coastal areas. Buses to the nearby coastal villages usually run frequently. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at the stop closest to the Dutch Fort. It should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off, the fort is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the local signs or ask locals for directions, as they are usually very helpful.

For those who prefer cycling, renting a bicycle in Mullaitivu is a great option. Start at the Mullaitivu town center and head northeast on the A35 road. After about 5 kilometers, take a left onto A32. Cycling will take around 30 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated.
