To reach Aśōkārāma Temple from the center of Negombo, find a nearby Tuk-Tuk stand, or ask your hotel to arrange a Tuk-Tuk for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to 450/33 Thimbirigasyaya Rd in Colombo. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the temple will be on your left side.

From Negombo, head to the main bus station located on Negombo's Main Street. Look for a bus heading to Colombo (the bus number may vary, so ask for the right one). After boarding, tell the conductor that you want to get off at Colombo 5, Thimbirigasyaya Rd. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you get off, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you see Aśōkārāma Temple on your right.

If you are staying in a hotel close to the beach area, you can walk towards the main road (Colombo-Negombo Road). From there, take a bus heading to Colombo or ask for a Tuk-Tuk. If you prefer walking entirely, it would be a long walk of around 15-20 km, which would take several hours, so it's advisable to take public transport for quicker access.
