  • Walking

    From the Negombo Beach area, head east along Lewis Place until you reach the intersection with Colombo Road (A3). Turn right onto Colombo Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to the Negombo Lagoon area. You will see signs directing you to the lagoon.

  • Tuk-tuk

    Find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or hail a tuk-tuk from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Negombo Lagoon. They will take you directly to the lagoon area. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Negombo. Start from the main beach area and follow the same route as walking: head east on Lewis Place, turn right onto Colombo Road (A3), and continue for about 1 kilometer.
