    From your current location in Negombo, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a passing tuk-tuk. Inform the driver that you want to go to Port City Colombo, specifically to the Port City View Point. The driver should understand the location. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will see the entrance to the viewpoint which is located at WRHQ+347.

    Head to the nearest bus stop in Negombo. Look for a bus heading towards Colombo, which should be marked with the destination 'Colombo'. Board the bus and enjoy the ride; it may take about 1 hour or more to reach Colombo. Once you arrive at Colombo, disembark at the Colombo Fort area. From there, you can take another tuk-tuk or walk towards the Port City, which is about a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride or a 30-minute walk. Ask locals for directions if needed.

  • Walking

    If you are near the beach area in Negombo, you can walk towards the main road (Negombo-Colombo Road) and then take a bus or tuk-tuk to Colombo. However, walking all the way to Port City Colombo is not recommended due to the distance and traffic. It's better to use this option in combination with public transport.
