    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Anuradhapura. Head southwest on Maithreepala Senanayake Mawatha toward Watawandana Rd. Continue straight onto Watawandana Rd for about 3 km. You will see Lankarama on your right at the coordinates 8.3666796, 80.3833232. There is limited parking available near the site, but be sure to check local signs for parking regulations.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Lankarama using public transportation, first, you need to get to Anuradhapura town. You can take a bus or a three-wheeler (tuk-tuk) from nearby towns like Dambulla or Habarana to Anuradhapura. Once you arrive at Anuradhapura bus station, take a local bus or a tuk-tuk to Watawandana Rd. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lankarama. The fare should be around 100-200 LKR. The site will be a short walk from where you are dropped off.
