    From the center of Polonnaruwa, head east along the Main Street (Buddhist Road). Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Kandy Road (A11) and continue straight for about 500 meters. You will see a sign for Kiri Vehera on your right. Turn right onto the side road and walk about 200 meters until you arrive at Kiri Vehera.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum located at No. 1, New Town. Head south on the New Town Road towards the Main Street. Once you reach the Main Street, turn right and cycle east for about 1 kilometer. At the roundabout, take the second exit to Kandy Road (A11) and continue cycling for another 500 meters until you spot the sign for Kiri Vehera on your right. Take the right turn and cycle about 200 meters to reach Kiri Vehera.
