Starting from the Polonnaruwa Bus Station, exit the station and head east on the main road (Nakawewa Road) towards the city center. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Old Polonnaruwa Road. Walk for another 1.5 km, and you will see the signs for Alahana Pirivena on your left. Follow the signs, and after a short walk of approximately 200 meters, you will arrive at the entrance of Alahana Pirivena.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Polonnaruwa. From the rental shop, head towards Nakawewa Road and continue straight for about 1 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Old Polonnaruwa Road. Cycle for about 1.5 km, keeping an eye out for the signs for Alahana Pirivena on your left. Once you see the signs, turn left and cycle for approximately 200 meters to reach the entrance.
