Getting There

  • Car

    From Ratnapura, head east on the A4 road towards Kuruwita. Continue on the A4 for about 10 kilometers until you reach a junction near the town of Kuruwita. Take the left turn onto the HiggasHena - Devipahala Road. Follow this road for approximately 4 kilometers. Bopath Falls will be on your right, with a small parking area available. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the falls.

  • Public Transportation

    Catch a bus from Ratnapura to Kuruwita at the local bus station. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the fare is quite affordable, usually around 50 LKR. Once you arrive in Kuruwita, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk. If walking, head east on the A4 road for about 1 kilometer, then turn left onto the HiggasHena - Devipahala Road. Continue on this road for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach Bopath Falls. A tuk-tuk ride should cost around 200-300 LKR.
