    If you are driving from Adam's Peak, head towards the A7 highway. Take the A7 road towards Hatton. After approximately 5 km, look for signs to Erathna and turn left onto the B540 road. Continue on this road for about 15 km. You will reach a junction; take the right fork towards Dakunu Adavikanda. The Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery is located on the left side of the road. There is parking available at the monastery.
