Start your journey from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Head southwest on the Main Street (Dambulla-Sigiriya Road) for about 1 km until you reach the junction near the Sigiriya bus station. Continue straight onto the A9 road for approximately 5 km until you reach the entrance to the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Burial Site on your right. Look for signs indicating the site.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. From your rental location, cycle southwest along the Main Street towards the Dambulla-Sigiriya Road for about 1 km. At the junction, continue onto the A9 road. After approximately 5 km, you will see the entrance to Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Burial Site on your right. Keep an eye out for the signage.

Tuk-Tuk
Find a local tuk-tuk driver around Sigiriya and negotiate a fare to take you to the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Burial Site. The drive will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Instruct the driver to take you towards Dambulla on the A9 road, and they should be familiar with the site, as it is a popular destination.
