    From Sigiriya Rock Fortress, start your journey by heading south on the Sigiriya - Dambulla Main Road (A9). After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the junction with the Dambulla - Sigiriya Road. Continue straight on the A9, passing by local shops and small eateries, which can be great for a quick snack or drink. After about 3 km, you’ll see a sign for Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs on your left. Turn left onto the smaller road and follow the signs. The tombs are located about 1 km down this road, and you will see the entrance to the site on your right.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. Begin your ride heading south on the Sigiriya - Dambulla Main Road (A9). It’s about a 5 km ride to the Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs. After about 2 km, you’ll reach a junction; keep going straight on the A9. Watch for a sign on your left for Ibbankatuwa. Turn left and follow the road for about 1 km. You will arrive at the tombs, which will be on your right. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
