    From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head south on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several small shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the junction where the road splits. Take a left turn at the junction, and follow the road for another 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Kala Wewa directing you towards the reservoir. The path will lead you directly to the entrance of Kala Wewa.

  • Cycling

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Sigiriya Village and ride towards the main road. Head south for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will encounter a few shops; continue straight until you reach the junction. Turn left at the junction and keep cycling for around 1 kilometer. Look for the signs indicating Kala Wewa, and you will find the reservoir on your right side.

  • Tuk Tuk

    If you prefer a Tuk Tuk, you can easily find one near the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Tell the driver you want to go to Kala Wewa. The ride is about 10 minutes, and they will take you along the main road. You will pass through local scenery, and the driver is likely to know the exact location. They will drop you off at the entrance to Kala Wewa.
