We travelled through Sri Lanka for 21 days with a driver from Nature Caves Sri Lanka, and we look back on this experience with immense gratitude. From the very beginning, we felt we could fully rely on both our driver Rumesh and the company. Months before our trip, we already had smooth and reliable email communication to carefully plan our itinerary together. Rumesh was punctual, dependable, and always thought along with us. We had travelled quite a bit independently in previous years, but as this was our first big adventure together with our children, we were looking for that extra level of comfort and security. We absolutely found that — without losing our sense of freedom. Whenever something needed to be arranged, Rumesh took care of it spontaneously, while always giving us the space to make our own choices and follow our own pace. We had a clear agreement about the total price and were able to pay this in two instalments directly to the driver. After each payment, we immediately received a correct confirmation from the company via WhatsApp. Rumesh speaks excellent English, is very kind (also with our children), and helped us gain a much deeper understanding of Sri Lanka, its people, and its culture. We truly appreciated his flexibility, patience, and solution-oriented attitude. Our youngest daughter has dietary restrictions, and Rumesh spontaneously helped us find safe and suitable food and snack options for her. His presence never felt intrusive — quite the opposite: he was a calm, friendly, and pleasant companion throughout our journey. We deliberately chose a slower-paced itinerary, with more rest days in between, adapted to travelling with children. Both the company and Rumesh understood this perfectly and supported our choices. Overall, we can highly recommend Nature Caves Sri Lanka to anyone who wants to discover this beautiful country in a comfortable, reliable, flexible, and truly personal way. We were with Nilanka for 15 days from the north to the south of Sri Lanka, he proved to be an attentive, thoughtful and professional driver. He was always punctual in appointments and careful while driving, he speaks perfect English. He drove us on schedules and itineraries always trying to satisfy our requests and needs. In case of need he was supportive and helpful making things much easier for us. The most important thing being two girls traveling alone is the fact that we felt safe and comfortable with him. Our trip to Sri Lanka was amazing, and Drivers in Sri Lanka helped us a lot organizing the whole trip and making it even more beautiful. They supported us from the beginning in designing the journey and deciding which activities to do, and also during the trip they regularly checked with us if everything was going well. The best part was getting to know Dinesh, our driver that was with us for the whole 12-days journey. Dinesh was so much more than a driver: he explained to us so many things about Sri Lanka, about its people, its traditions, about habits and cultures, about nature, animals and climate. He guided us, he suggested timings and activities, he helped talking with locals and made us try local dishes and experiences that we would have probably not tried alone. He was a reliable and trustworthy person that helped us along the journey in every aspect. We shared stories and moments together that we will always remember!
