Walking
From the center of Sigiriya, start at the Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance. Head north on the A12 road towards the Pidurangala Temple. It is approximately a 30-minute walk (about 2 kilometers). Follow the signs along the way. As you reach the Pidurangala Temple, you will see a large Buddha statue. The entrance to Pidurangala Rock is just past the temple gates. You will need to pay a small entrance fee here.

Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Sigiriya. Simply ask the driver to take you to Pidurangala Rock. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the base of Pidurangala Rock, where you can begin your hike after paying the entrance fee.

Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great option. Most guesthouses in Sigiriya offer bike rentals. Cycle north on the A12 road towards the Pidurangala Temple.
