Walking
From the center of Sigiriya, start at the Sigiriya Rock Fortress entrance. Head north on the A12 road towards the Pidurangala Temple. It is approximately a 30-minute walk (about 2 kilometers). Follow the signs along the way. As you reach the Pidurangala Temple, you will see a large Buddha statue. The entrance to Pidurangala Rock is just past the temple gates. You will need to pay a small entrance fee here.

Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Sigiriya. Simply ask the driver to take you to Pidurangala Rock. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the base of Pidurangala Rock, where you can begin your hike after paying the entrance fee.

Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great option. Most guesthouses in Sigiriya offer bike rentals. Cycle north on the A12 road towards the Pidurangala Temple. This route is relatively flat and offers beautiful views. It will take you around 15-20 minutes to reach the temple. Once you arrive, park your bike at the entrance, pay your fee, and start your hike up Pidurangala Rock.
