Walking
From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head east towards the main road (Dambulla - Sigiriya Road). Continue walking for about 400 meters until you reach the junction with the main road. Turn right onto the Dambulla - Sigiriya Road and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signposts directing you to the Summer Palace. After about 1 kilometer, you will come to a small dirt road on your left. Turn left here and follow the dirt road for about 500 meters until you reach the Summer Palace.
