If you're driving from Trincomalee town center, head southeast on Main Street towards Kandy Road. Continue on Kandy Road (A6) for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the 5th Mile Post sign on your left. Turn left onto Nugasewana Mawatha. Trincomalee Beach will be on your right after about 200 meters. Look for parking along the beach area.
Public Transportation
To reach Trincomalee Beach by public transport, catch a local bus heading towards Kandy Road from the bus station in Trincomalee. Buses frequently run along this route. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 5th Mile Post. Once you get off the bus, walk back towards Nugasewana Mawatha, and Trincomalee Beach will be on your right after about a 5-minute walk.
