Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Trincomalee city center. Head northeast on the A6 road towards Kuchchaveli. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for the sign for Pulmoddai Road. Turn onto Pulmoddai Road and continue for about 7 kilometers. Uga Jungle Beach will be located on your left side at the 27th Kilometer Post. There is ample parking available on-site.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Trincomalee, you can catch a bus to Kuchchaveli from the main bus station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you at the 27th Kilometer Post on Pulmoddai Road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach Uga Jungle Beach. Be sure to confirm the bus fare, which is usually around 50-100 LKR depending on the bus.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more direct route, consider hiring a tuk-tuk. Negotiate a fare with the driver before getting in. The cost from Trincomalee to Uga Jungle Beach should be around 1000-1500 LKR. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and the driver will drop you right at the entrance of the resort.
