If you are starting from the Trincomalee town center, head towards the main road (Koneswaram Road). Walk northeast until you reach the junction with the Sri Lanka Navy Headquarters. From there, take the road that leads towards the coast, which is also known as Eastern Naval Command Headquarters Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Green Bay Beach, which is located near the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters.

To reach Green Bay Beach via tuk-tuk from Trincomalee town, find a tuk-tuk stand or flag one down. Tell the driver to take you to the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Upon arrival, you will see signs for Green Bay Beach, which is right next to the headquarters.
Public Bus
If you prefer to take a public bus, head to the main bus station in Trincomalee. Look for a bus heading towards the Eastern Naval Command area. Make sure to ask the conductor to let you know when to get off. Once you disembark, walk towards the coast and follow the signs to Green Bay Beach. This option may take longer, around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and waiting times.
