If you are traveling by car from Trincomalee city center, head southwest on Main Street (A6 Road) towards Kandy Road. Follow the A6 road for approximately 5 km. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Naval Headworks Sanctuary. The entrance will be on your right side, just after you see a sign for Kandy Road. There is parking available at the sanctuary.
