Walking
From the center of Trincomalee (near the Clock Tower), head east on Main Street towards the beach. Continue walking until you reach the Trincomalee Bus Station. From there, you can follow the coastal road (also known as the Koneswaram Road) which leads towards Chinabay. It’s about a 30-minute walk. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you towards Sweat Bay.
Tuk-Tuk
You can easily find a tuk-tuk near the Clock Tower or the Trincomalee Bus Station. Once you are in the tuk-tuk, tell the driver to take you to Sweat Bay. They will likely know the area well, and the journey should take about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey.
Cycling
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Trincomalee. Start from the Clock Tower and head towards the Trincomalee Bus Station. Then, take the Koneswaram Road heading towards the coast. The ride to Sweat Bay will take around 20 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
