Walking
If you are starting from Trincomalee town center (Main Street), head east towards the clock tower. Walk past the clock tower and continue on the same road until you reach the beach. Once you reach the beach, turn left and walk along the coastline. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Thirukoneswaram Kovil on your left. The temple is located on a hill, and you will need to walk up the steps to reach the entrance.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk near your location in Trincomalee. You can ask for one at your hotel or look for them parked along the streets. Tell the driver you would like to go to Thirukoneswaram Kovil. The ride will take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the base of the hill where the temple is located. From there, you will need to walk up the steps to reach the temple entrance.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Trincomalee town center and head towards the beach. Ride along the coastal road towards the east for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Thirukoneswaram Kovil on your left. Park your bicycle at the designated area and walk up the steps to the temple entrance.
