    From the center of Trincomalee, start at the Clock Tower located on Main Street. Head east on Main Street toward the Trincomalee Bus Station. After about 500 meters, you will reach the bus station. From here, continue on the main road (Koneswaram Road) for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you to Thirukoneswaram Kovil. Follow the road as it curves to the right and continues uphill. The temple is located at the top of the hill, where the views of the coastline are stunning.
