Walking
Start at the Unawatuna Beach area. Head east along the beach towards the southern end of the beach where you will find a small path that leads up to the Rumassala hill. Follow the path upwards, keeping an eye out for signs that lead to the Japanese Peace Pagoda, which is located on the Rumassala hill. Continue along this path until you reach the pagoda, which is a notable landmark. Once you have visited the pagoda, continue on the same path as it curves around the hill. After walking for about 15-20 minutes, you will come to a fork in the path. Take the left path which will lead you down towards the area known as Dutch Watering Point. Keep following the signs and paths until you arrive at the location, which is marked as 269Q+334, Unawatuna.

From any location in Unawatuna, simply flag down a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Dutch Watering Point' or give them the address: '269Q+334, Unawatuna'.
