Bus
From Unawatuna, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take a bus heading towards Matara and tell the conductor you want to get off at the stop for 'Sinharaja'. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Sinharaja bus stop, you will need to walk to the entrance of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, which is about 1 km away. Follow the signs to the entrance.

Tuk-Tuk
For a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Unawatuna to Sinharaja Forest Reserve. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride will take around 1 hour, depending on traffic. Just inform the driver to take you to the Sinharaja Forest Reserve entrance.
