If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Ella, which is approximately 8 km away from Nine Arches Bridge. Take the A23 road towards Ambagollapathana. After about 5 km, look for a sign indicating the Nine Arches Bridge. Turn right on to the road leading to the bridge viewpoint. There is limited parking near the viewpoint, so be prepared for a short walk if the parking area is full.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Ella, you can take a local bus towards Badulla. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Ambagollapathana bus stop. The fare should be around 50 LKR. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the bridge viewpoint, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the path signs that lead you to the viewpoint.

A convenient option from Ella is to hire a tuk-tuk. Negotiate a fare before you set off, which should be around 400-600 LKR for a round trip. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the viewpoint, saving you the walk. Ensure you agree on a pickup time for your return journey.

If you enjoy hiking, you can walk from Ella to Nine Arches Bridge, which is about 8 km away. Take the scenic route through tea plantations and lush greenery. It will take around 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the journey. Follow the main road towards Ambagollapathana, and look for signs directing you to the viewpoint.
