Car
From Vavuniya Town, head north on the A9 highway towards Medawachchiya. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach Medawachchiya. Once in Medawachchiya, look for signs directing you towards Galkandegama Poonewa. Turn onto the road leading to Galkandegama Poonewa and continue for about 5 kilometers. Boo oya Nature Resort will be on your left-hand side. Ensure you have a map or GPS on hand, as some local signage may be minimal.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from the Vavuniya Bus Station heading towards Medawachchiya. The journey will take around an hour and the fare is approximately 100 LKR. Once you arrive at the Medawachchiya bus terminal, you can either take a local tuk-tuk or a three-wheeler to Galkandegama Poonewa, which should cost around 200 LKR and take about 15 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to Boo oya Nature Resort specifically.
