Getting There

Car
From Colombo, head east on the A1 highway. After approximately 21 km, take the exit towards Kaduwela. Continue on the A4 road for about 10 km until you reach the Biyagama Junction. Turn left onto the B87 road. Follow this road for approximately 4 km, and then take a right onto the Unnamed Road leading to Labugama. Drive on this road for about 5 km, and you will find the Adawala waterfall (ආඳාවල) on your left side. Make sure to park your car safely along the roadside.

Public Transportation
From Colombo, take a bus from the Colombo Central Bus Stand to Kaduwela. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and costs around LKR 50. Once you reach Kaduwela, you can switch to a local bus heading towards Labugama. The fare for this leg is approximately LKR 30, and it takes another 30 minutes. After reaching Labugama, you may need to walk or hire a tuk-tuk for the remaining 5 km to the waterfall. The tuk-tuk fare is about LKR 500.
