Head east on the Weg naar Lelydorp (also known as the East-West Link Road) for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road leading towards the Commewijne District. Continue following the signs for Commewijne. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at the town of Nieuw Amsterdam. From Nieuw Amsterdam, follow the road signs towards Braamspunt, which is approximately 8 kilometers away. The last part of the journey involves a dirt road. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain. Note that parking is available at Braamspunt for visitors.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Paramaribo to Nieuw Amsterdam. Buses leave frequently throughout the day from the main bus terminal in Paramaribo. The fare is approximately 15 SRD. Once you arrive in Nieuw Amsterdam, you will need to take a taxi or a local minibus to Braamspunt. Taxis are available near the bus terminal, and the fare to Braamspunt should be around 30 SRD.
