Car
From Paramaribo, take the N1 highway heading south. Continue on the N1 for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Zanderij. After passing through the small town of Zanderij, keep an eye out for Weg naar Kraka 11 on your right. Palulu Camping is located along this road. Ensure to have a GPS or map app handy for precise navigation, especially in the less populated areas. The drive takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Public Transportation
From Paramaribo, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Zanderij. These can be found at the central bus station. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off near Weg naar Kraka 11, as not all drivers may be familiar with Palulu Camping specifically. Once you arrive in Zanderij, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along Weg naar Kraka to reach the camping site. Be prepared for a short walk in a rural area, and consider carrying water and wearing comfortable shoes.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Paramaribo to Palulu Camping. The taxi ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey, which should generally be between 100 to 150 SRD, but confirm the price based on your specific starting point and destination. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of Palulu Camping.
