Walking
If you are in Mariënburg, head towards the main road (Johan Adolf Pengelweg) leading to Paramaribo. Walk straight for about 30 minutes until you reach the intersection with the A. B. B. Weg. Turn left onto A. B. B. Weg and continue walking for another 15 minutes until you see signs for Fort Zeelandia. Cross the bridge over the Suriname River and keep walking until you reach Waterkant, where Fort Zeelandia is located.

From Mariënburg, take a bus or minibus heading to Paramaribo. You can catch one of these at the main bus stop in Mariënburg. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Paramaribo, get off at the Waterkant stop. Walk towards the river, and you will see Fort Zeelandia directly ahead.
