Car
If you are traveling by car from Paramaribo, take the A1 highway towards Wanica. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A1A road. Turn right onto A1A and follow the signs towards Braamspunt. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers. As you approach Braamspunt, look for signs indicating the beach area. There is a parking area available near the beach entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Braamspunt using public transportation, start by heading to the central bus station in Paramaribo. From there, take a bus that is heading towards Wanica. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Braamspunt, which is usually indicated by signs. The ride takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Braamspunt stop, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the beach area. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the bus, typically around 5-10 SRD.
Taxi
For a more direct and comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from Paramaribo to Braamspunt. This is the quickest method and will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as it can range from 50 to 100 SRD. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance to Braamspunt beach.
