Car
If you are driving from Paramaribo, take the Kwatta Road (also known as the Weg naar Zee) heading south. After approximately 10 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Braamspunt. You will eventually reach a junction; take the left fork towards the coast. Continue driving until you reach the end of the road, where you will find Braamspunt beach. Note that parking facilities are limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To reach Braamspunt using public transport, start by taking a bus from Paramaribo to Wanica District. Look for buses that display 'Weg naar Zee' as their destination. Once you arrive in Wanica, you may need to take a taxi or a local minibus to cover the remaining distance to Braamspunt. Expect to pay around 10-20 SRD for the taxi ride. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, renting a bicycle in Paramaribo is an option. Head out on the same route as the driving directions, following the Kwatta Road towards the coast. Be cautious, as the road may have heavy traffic. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Braamspunt by bike, depending on your fitness level. Bring water and snacks, as there are few places to stop along the way.
